Better known by his scene name NgidiMan, Papy Muyo made his first steps in singing while he was in grade 4, as he joined a choir of which he eventually the master at age 16. That happened in Kinshasa where this native of the Bandundu province grew up as a child of a family of nine siblings. Since, he has turned music into his profession, being consumed by the enthusiasm of learning more next to his brothers and sisters, uncle and aunt, who strongly influenced him.
Having enjoyed different musical trainings, and harbouring a unique talent, NgidiMan is acclaimed for mixing several music styles, including rumba, afro pop and afro hip-hop. Author-composer, singer, rapper, animator and instrumentalist, this Congolese artist, who is based in Johannesburg, South Africa, is in parallel pursuing there training as a sound engineer.
The artist is working on an album titled Money to Money, for which he has invited in studio by Nigerian, Ghanaian, Gabonese, Ivorian, and South African artists. The release of this album, whose clips are currently undergoing shooting, is announced for next 28th of May. As regards the scene, Papy Muyo, who is credited for several spectacles and concerts in the DR Congo, Cameroon, and South Africa, is now working on a new tour whose dates will unveiled very soon.
