Six months after their memorable concert in front of 30,000 people at Omnisport Cidadela Desportiva Stadium in Luanda, the group Kassav is performing at the Grand Festival of Nostalgia, “which will take place in the same place, on the 23rd April an invitation of Associados House Production.
The West Indian group will be headlining an event which will bring together artists groups from Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea and Congo (DRC). A Production of Ikuma Bamba who is part of the organization: “This is the group most revered of Angolans”.
During the six hours that the performances will go for, the audience will see on stage, following each other, Livity Cape Verdeans, and Tabankajazz Africa Negra, Angolans Tropical Banda Irmãos Almeida, Eduardo Paim, Jacinto Tchip, and proletario Mamborró and the Congolese group Quartier Latin of Koffi Olomide. By this “Grand Festival of nostalgia”, its initiators intend to “plunge into the music lovers the unforgettable moments of their lives. ” 60 000 tickets are on sale at prices ranging between 2,500 to 20,000 kwanzas that is 27 USD to 215 USD
