A wise man said; ‘we rather live together than die alone’ very wise indeed, but it raises questions in one’s mind question like, how do we live together or come together being from different countries, different cultures and religions ? How can we come together living in s world that imposes us to live every man for himself?

It’s here where need to apply the concept of unity in diversity, defined as a concept of ‘unity without uniformity and diversity without fragmentation’ that shifts focus from unity based on a mere tolerance of physical, cultural, linguistic ,social, religious ,political, ideological and /or psychological differences towards more complex based on an understanding that difference enriches human interaction …

A young man from the Democratic Republic of Congo, residing in Johannesburg/ South Africa, has raised his voice high to ring bell against division amongst people of Africa.

After witnessing xenophobic attacks in 2008, unfair treatment of foreign nationals in most of the African countries, Isaac Mabaka Landu , CEO of IML Image (production company ) has created a movement (Non-profit organization )of awareness against a divided Africa called “You and Me Together “

The organization aims to educate people on the concept of togetherness, believing that we can do more. Many of the problems we’ re facing in Africa and the world are result of our selfishness and the negligence of others point of view .

“You and Me Togetherr” plans on talking over Africa under a wind of a decisive shift that will things in our community by helping NPOS and other organizations similar interest, by directly helping unprivileged communities, not with word only, you know what, “hungry stomach has ears”

To achieves its objectives the organization proposes :- Raise public awareness of its action by all suitable means (the press, newspapers, audio-visual media , journals, testimonies, books exhibitions); to organize debates , conferences, forums, seminars and training session, camps, campaigns, exhibitions and show…

The organization plans on owing a publication / newsletter called “You and Me Together Newsletter” This Newsletter will be printed twice (2) a month and will contain articles related to the objectives of the organization and message from sponsors and partners.
