Aimelia Lias showed up at the Festival “Antilliaanse feesten” in Hogstraten in Belgium

With his new solo album, Race des vainqueurs “,” the singer Aimelia Lias Demingongo seems finally to find his smile, after his first album that has a little conviction (album “Finding”, released in 2000).

It is from this new album where he drew most of the repertoire he proposed to the public at his last production on stage.

Alumnus of Wenge Musica, Aimelia Lias were first produced at the festival “Antilliaanse feesten” on Saturday 15 August 2009 Hogstraten Belgium. For the occasion, the singer was accompanied by Congolese artists known and unknown installed in Europe. Among them, former fellow singer Wenge Teka Diobanza, guitarists  Therry Mogratana and Pathy Moleso, bassist Michel Luman and percussionist Jimmy Mbonda but also Pitshou and Riguene (vocals), Oxygen and Barroza (vocals & Animation ), Gianni (guitar), as was the Kama Ribin synths and Jean Michel with the drums.

To believe our source, the concert, which ran from 0’00 to 1h’30, started on guitar notes Thierry Mogratana at the same time,on another podium, located about 700 meters Jacob Desvarieux group Kassav, accustomed to the festival began, he also perfomed his first note before a delirious crowd.

According to the same source, all the compositions of Aimelia were reviewed: From “Djoudjou Ngonde” (album “Pentagon”) to “Light” (album “Finding”), to “Liberation” ( “Titanic”) “Placebo” (album “In la queue leu leu”), for the nostalgic and new songs. Since the dance has always been part of such occasions, three dancers male and three dancers female were involved in the show: Yap’s Gohi, ACSEL Olinga, and Doris Pack Deviny, Sabine and Balmy Andjia Sangare.

As a reminder, Aimelia Lias has been an integral part of Wenge Musica 4×4 until it broke up. After the dislocation of the group in 1997, he played in Wenge BCBG  of JB Mpiana before changing camp by entering maison mere Wenge musica of Werrason.
