Staying in South Africa, singer Aimelia Lias just came from closing some good contracts with NB Music Records, a house of production based in Durban, South Africa and has a foothold in the country.
Besides the completion of clips from his album “Race of Winners,” the contract provide for his participation in the “Festival 2010” and the opening ceremony of the FIFA 2010 World Cup scheduled in South Africa.
Another agreement between the singer and the production house is the production of a maxi single with the white South African diva JAE, a singer with impressive record: a platinum, three gold records and winner of the South Africa Music Award (SAM). The House of Production N B Music Records will also ensure the distribution of the album “Race Winners” in South Africa.
The shooting of clips is announced for coming November, while the recording of maxi single is expected in December with as featuring guest the South African violinist IN-CHI of Chinese origin who is famous in the country of Mandela and the region.
The know-how of Aimelia, but also and above all his high-pitched voice never cease to amaze and captivate the public, particularly in South Africa where more and more local artists (white) are interested in him. With this recognition, the singer, who has received at least four times on stages of major television channel SABC 2, SABC 3 and SABC AFRICA subsequently, hopes to enter fully into the circuit of world music.
Looking back in his career the artist recalls a childhood memory: at the age of 9 years when he was accompanying his mother, to shop at the central market in Kinshasa, a stranger had told the latter that her son would become famous throughout the world. What also makes Aimelia say that what is happening to him is simply “the confirmation and the beginning of the fulfillment of that prophecy.
