The Congolese musical group Zaiko Langa Langa Nkolo Mboka will be perfoming at the high profile musical concert to mark the lunch of the world cup on June 11 2010.
The Congolese musical group is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and has been playing concerts in the Congo and around the world to celebrate their achievement.
It is expected that the group will hold other concert during its stay in South Africa from the end of May. Zaiko is an acronym for Zaire ya ba Nkoko- Zaire of our forefathers
The group was formed on 24 December 1969 and delivered it first concert in March 1970.
It was a group of young talents in the post independence Congo. Acclaimed for their many famous albums including Avis de recherche, and poisson, this group is considered to be behind the kwasa kwasa dance.
