Mimitah is a rising Congolese music star born in DR Congo. She grew up in East London in a refugee family of 8. She helps raise awareness about rape and deportation to the Congo and describes her style of music as “COWO” which means “Congo Meets World”.
COWO is a young Congolese traditional sound mixed with modern one and other kinds of worldly music.
Her Single TATA MUASI meaning “AUNTY”, proved to be a Hit in the DR Congo, topping the Congolese music charts and won millions of fans.
