
The Congolese musical world has just lost their dear colleague The Artist Bokumu Nzuzi known by his nickname “Denzu” deceased on the night of Thursday 07 May on the morning of Friday 08 May 2009 in South Africa! All the Congolese community of Jo’burg met to pay “Tribute” and “Commemoration” of his personality a musician of good quality on the day of Saturday 16 May 2009 in the Village Kin Malebo owned by President Mike Bombito.
Biography of the Artist
The Artist is called Bokumu Nzuzi aka Denzu, twin and Single. born on the 19.10.1981 in a family of 5 children. 50% from Equateur and 50% from Bandundu Mumbala, grew up in Matete; Did his Primary Studies at Saint Adrien in Ngaba; His secondary school in Kalokoso College / Bandundu; passed his High school with 56% to go immediately to university of Kinshasa and did his 2nd year Graduate in the Political Science Administrative Faculty.
And it was from there that he will join the Group Wenge Musica Maison Mere of Phenomene Ngiama Makanda Werrason from 2000 to 2003. After leaving the Group he will directly come to lead a new artistic adventure in South Africa.
His death was really a surprised throughout the Community because he was still young of age and liked to live with people around him (A people’s man) … 
The exhibition of his remains was held at the St. Francis Catholic Church Saturday 16 May 2009 at 14.00. After the short comforting message from a Pastor two journalists, Ali Bokuma Le P’tit Bolowa and Jules Assani Mutu ya Zamani and his biological Big Brother appeared on stage for a word of circumstance.
In addition his artist friends Musicians also came up for an act of Individual Accappela to honour the deceased. The evening was enlivened at the Village Kin Malebo to allow all Community and Musicians to meet …..
To mention “Eight Mutsheke”; “Akim”; “Kastil King”; “Extra Terrestrial”; “Romeo”, “Blanco Power”; “Kay Kay”; “All Flame”; “Kasha King”; “Bechante” and Verou Lutumba … It was a very successful evening under the direction of course of Jules Assani Bokum and Ali.
All the press was on hand to commemorate together by Mike Bombito who we will continue to throw flowers for their support and good faith. Really to Denzu’s family we simply say “Courage
and above all remain united and you would experience the wonders of the Lord. ”
