Lilas \"La Fleur\" Mukendi is an up and coming artist. <\/pre>\nShe was born and grew up in Paris (France) from Congolese parents.<\/pre>\n<\/p>\n
Lilas La Fleur studied <\/pre>\nBusiness Management at<\/pre>\nthe University of Teesside (UK) where she mastered the English language. <\/pre>\n\u00a0<\/pre>\nLilas La Fleur is a gifted musician with something more <\/pre>\nthan talent to share. Her<\/pre>\nmusic is very positive and she encourages people not <\/pre>\nto give up on their lives. Her<\/pre>\nsongs are inspired from her own personal experience and <\/pre>\nher experience as a<\/pre>\nChristian. In sharing a gift that God has given her, <\/pre>\nLilas has the means to<\/pre>\nencourage her fans. She started singing since <\/pre>\nshe was a little girl but the age of 9<\/pre>\nshe started composing music on her keyboard, and has <\/pre>\nbeen performing ever since.<\/pre>\nLilas has never had any vocal training as such. <\/pre>\nShe has a heart for people who\u2019s<\/pre>\nbeen abuse physically, sexually, mentally. <\/pre>\n\u00a0<\/pre>\nShe release her debut single (Gospel) in 2006, \u2018Don\u2019t Worry\u2019, the<\/pre>\nsingle was reviewed by Christopher Heron from www.blackgospel.<\/pre>\ncom and she was also<\/pre>\ninterviewed by him. In 2007, Lilas La Fleur published <\/pre>\nher first book \u201cSTEP INTO<\/pre>\nYOUR CALLING: WORSHIP LEADING\u201d. In that same year, <\/pre>\nLilas La Fleur has signed a<\/pre>\ncontract with a model agency based in Sunderland,<\/pre>\nUK, www.zeebramodels.com. <\/pre>\n\u00a0<\/pre>\nIn 2008 she released her debut Gospel album \u2018Spread my Wingz\u2019. <\/pre>\nThis year Lilas is back with a new style, She was one of <\/pre>\nthe support artists for<\/pre>\nNeyo after Party in Sunderland on the 18th of July 2009, <\/pre>\njust after his concert in<\/pre>\nNewcastle.
