The West End will turn into a giant street party for one day only with
an amazing 10m model rocket and dozens of live characters from Night at the Museum
2, out in cinemas 20 May.
From 12 noon until 5pm you and your friends
will be treated to a feast of free entertainment and thousands of
giveaways and offers from many of the Oxford Street shops and
restaurants. Many stores will stay open until 9pm.
What’s more, as the kids safely roam the street, they will have the
chance to have their photo taken with their favourite character from
the film Night at the Museum 2 and families will even be treated to
exclusive sneak previews from four giant TVs.
West End stores including Selfridges, Marks & Spencer, Debenhams, John Lewis, House
of Fraser, Primark, McDonalds and Boots
will provide thrilling family entertainment including live music,
in-store offers, promotions and themed entertainment across the street.
To celebrate the birthday of the West End you will be invited to take part in the
record attempt for the largest parcel in a pass-the-parcel
accompanied by a marching band, makes its way along Oxford Street. With
hidden prizes between the layers from several of Oxford Street’s
largest retailers, families have the chance to claim some fantastic
prizes to take away with them on the day.
