The event, one of the many productions of the label “Love Plus ltd” based in London UK and directed by the famous Junior Vangu Champignon (JVC), will take place on Saturday August the 5th, 2017 at the Hall “Africana Palace” which is located near the “Rond-point Huileries” in Kinshasa DR Congo.
It is a talent show consisting mainly of a dressing parade, at the end of which one man and one lady will respectively be crowned “Vrai Djo” and “Vraie Chérie”, simply meaning elegant man / lady.
There will be 30 contestants in total, 15 of each sex competing for a crown, one cup, a cash prize as well as many surprise gifts…
In order to diversify the winning criteria, the show will contain 4 stages: contestants will initially parade in a relaxed outfit or “BCBG” as know locally, then in a traditional outfit known as “Liputa”.
The third stage will heat the hall’s atmosphere up with various beachwear / bikinis whilst the last stage will close the contest in a super smart style, ready the Gala after party.
In order to be considered, applying candidates must be aged 20 to 40 and will have to pass the assessment process involving a singing / dancing / cat walking contest and also an international language fluency test (both written and oral), notably French and / or English. Places being limited, only the top 15 of each sex would eventually be selected, so beware!
Participation will be free for the first 5 “early birds” recruited, others having to pay $………………..
The recruitment will take place on Saturday February the 25th, 2017 at the party hall “London Business”found at 329 Avenue Lukula in Bandalungwa (Bandal), Quartier Synkin within a 2 minutes walking distance from “Tshibangu Arrêt Pharmacie”.
