Ordained as the priest of Saint Etienne, father Jean Marie Didh’o, is finally meeting his childhood vocational dream.
Born on 26th June 1976 in the DRC, Father Jean Marie came to South Africa after completing his bachelor degree in philosophy at the Saint Augustine College – Kinshasa.
In South Africa as a deacon he started with teaching catechism at the St Francis of Assist – Yeoville
He would hold a MA Degree in Anthropology at the University of Wits and then went on to minister as deacon at our lady of Africa parish in Mohlakeng, Western Rand.
He also attended the John Vianney Major seminary under his vocational formation and he would be ordained as the first French-speaking priest in S.A in January 2010 by the Archibishop Buti Tlhaga.
His childhood dream saw light as he has been appointed priest for (the Saint Etienne) HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC CHURCH in Spruitview . Parish Archdiocese of Johannesburg
