ORDINATION TO THE DIACONATE OF JEAN-MARIE KUZITUKA DID’HO

 

The archdiocese of Johannesburg will receive through its Archbishop to the rank of its clergy, Father Jean-Marie Kuzituka Did’ho. He will be ordained deacon on Saturday the 22nd of August at 10:00 AM at the cathedral Christ the King of Johannesburg. Fr Jean-Marie will be the first Congolese and French speaking priest to be ordained for the archdiocese of Johannesburg.

Who is then Jean-Marie Kuzituka Did’ho? Jean-Marie is a Congolese from the DRC, born and bread in Congo. He started his priestly formation in Kinshasa where he obtained his first degree in Philosophy. He arrived in South Africa in February 2002 and was admitted at the University of the Witwatersrand in December 2003 for the Honours degree in Social Anthropology which he obtained in 2004. Two years later he graduated once more for the degree of Master in Social Anthropology from the same University.

In 2005, Jean-Marie was admitted in John Vianney Major seminary in Pretoria to study Theology of which he has just completed this year in May and he got the bachelor degree in Theology.

Fr Jean-Marie is an author of many social, political and anthropological articles he has written many articles also in our website amagep.co.za such as “The ritual and conditional power of Kinshasa. Necessity of a popular revolution”, “Love, this ambiguous term” to name just a few. He has also written many other articles in various African, American and European websites, journals and magazines. Writing is therefore his passion and carrier. Soon his first book will be published. Once it is published, amagep will keep you informed.
