Congofoot Training Citizen Journalists in Africa for the World Cup 2010



AFP Foundation more than 300 sport journalists and photographers in the African perspective of the World Cup in 2010 under an agreement with the Federation Internationale de Football (FIFA), with support from the European Commission.


This program is part of the economic and social development of FIFA Win in Africa with Africa launched after the allocation of World Cup 2010 in South Africa.
Journalists from 53 African countries are found in eight mainland cities (Libreville, Cairo, Rabat, Dakar, Johannesburg, Lagos, Maputo and Nairobi) for initial one-week training in the first half of 2009 and a second development in second semester.


On this, Congofoot Citizen was selected in the session from 19 to 25 July in Libreville where Serge TUNGILA and maitre Didier Kanku were presented, noted that in this session is the journalist Emmanuel Barranguet the AFP who was the trainer of the group including several journalists from Cameroon, Niger and the DRC participants have received training and  a certificate of honour.
